The Wercs Web Viewer Help

The WERCS Web Viewer is a search engine that will display documents published from The WERCS Author or DocuWercs. Files that The WERCS Web Viewer retrieves will only be displayed if the client has the appropriate software to open the retrieved files. For instance:

PDF documents require Adobe Acrobrat Reader.

The Wercs Search Engine - The Wercs search engine has the capability to search the Lexmark SDS document library based on user input in the search definition page.

The way in which input search criteria are processed can be fine-tuned based on the user's current search requirements.

Part Number Search Options

• Start With - Returns all P/Ns starting with the search character string.
• Contains - Returns all P/Ns containing the search character string.
• Exact - Returns all P/Ns exactly matching the search character string.

Product Name Search Options

• Start With - Returns all Products whose names start with the search character string.
• Contains - Returns all Products whose names contain the search character string.
• Exact - Returns all Products whose names exactly match the search character string.

Chemical Name, Component or CAS# Search

• Partial string provides broader search.
  (Search does not support the use of wildcard symbols.)
